What is podcasting?

Technically, podcasting is the “publishing” of audio files on a recurring basis using an RSS feed. Once a user is subscribed to a podcast feed (same thing as an RSS feed), their podcatcher program will download new content as it becomes available. How much does it cost?

Sonibyte’s services were designed to be cost effective. Although prices vary a great deal depending on a number of factors, we can generally produce a podcast episode for $75-100. We can also help to monetize your podcasts by dynamically inserting advertisements into them, transforming your podcast initiative from an expense to a revenue source. Who will read my content?

Sonibyte maintains a vast and diverse network of professional VoiceOver Artists that we can call on at a moment’s notice. We work with our clients to choose a human reader that is appropriate for their content. There are many, many options and it is virtually inconceivable that we wouldn’t be able to find a qualified reader for your podcast.

Can I record my own audio or read my own written content?

How quickly can you produce a podcast from the time that I upload my text?

The Sonibyte system was designed with daily newspaper publishers in mind, thus we can turn written content into a podcast in as little as 6 hours. In cases when our client’s record their own content, turnaround can be even faster.

How do I know if podcasting is the right delivery medium for our content?

We have worked with dozens of content producers to determine an appropriate podcasting strategy.
